What a busy week!!!!

I had to work on Sunday and the girls meet me in Dallas Monday morning to catch an early morning flight to Colorado Springs. We spent most of Monday and Tuesday visiting the Andrews family. Caroline enjoyed spending time with Katie Madison and seeing her funny dad Taylor. It is a true blessing to have such great friends. On Tuesday we flew back to Dallas and spent the night at Grammie and Grandpas.

On Wednesday I had to work and Caroline had a doctors appointment for more vaccination then her and Nikki drove home.

On Thursday Nikki had to work and Caroline and I had a Dads day of checking cows and filling mill and salt troughs.

On Friday morning we all left for Oklahoma city. While in OKC we stayed with the Whitworths.

Saturday the girls just hung around the house playing with Ben and Clint, Jack and I went to the farm show at the Oklahoma State Fair Grounds.

Bright and early Sunday morning the whole family got up 5:00 AM because I was running in the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon (26.2 miles) Jessica also ran the Marathon and The Mother-in -law ran the half marathon. Nikki and Caroline drove around OKC bringing me food and water. The wind was gusting about 30-40 mph and it was pretty tough morning. After a few blisters and some sore muscles I finished. After the race the Gillem family went to take a nap and then went to our favorite Mexican food restaurant, Ted's Escondido. (If you ever go through OKC it is worth your time to stop)

First Tooth!!

Caroline Claire has gotten her first tooth. It is coming in on the bottom in the middle of her mouth. It is such a blessing to watch her grow and change. We cannot imagine life without that little girl. Sometimes I look at that little girl and I think what have I done to deserve such a blessing from God. God has truly blessed us!!!!

Easter Sunday

What a great Lord's day. We are so blessed to have a Caroline Claire with us. We are counting our blessings this Easter. We went to church and Caroline cried the entire service. I held her in my arms in a back room the entire hour of service and just thought how lucky I was to be able to stand and rock this little girl. She cried and fussed and I thought I don't want to miss one second of being able to hold her and rock her while I can, because this season will not last for long.
